Join us at Lime Wood on Wednesday 24th June for a day of nature, learning and nourishment, celebrating summer.
Led by our resident forager Sammie Longhorn, begin the day exploring the grounds of Lime Wood to discover seasonal, edible treasures growing all around us. You’ll then be guided into the art of fermentation with Rachel Booth, founder of Newlyn Fermentary, alongside our Head Chef Iain Longhorn.
In this hands-on workshop, Rachel will share her passion for fermented foods, from gut-friendly kefirs to vibrant kvass, showing just how simple it is to transform foraged ingredients into nourishing, flavourful creations at home. Learn the foundations of lacto-fermentation - one of the oldest and most health beneficial preservation techniques. The morning concludes with a relaxed, seasonal lunch in Raw & Cured.
